I admit that I often use humor to get me through my disease. But, that is within my family and close set of friends, such as you. Others would not understand. However, I could not use cancer as a forum for jokes.
I understand the thinking behind doing it if you have cancer. I understand the thinking behind sharing it in a public forum if you have it and want to show others that you can laugh at yourself. I do that on my blog is a very tactful and respectful way. But, for me, cancer is just a place I won’t let humor walk. It’s too close to me because of you and Nance.
You’re missing it. I *want* people to laugh – but they don’t. Most of them. They just tell me to cut things off and get done with it. Well, except for you and my ex and a few others. He laughs a lot. Then again, he does have a red-headed baby whose 1/2 chinese.
The post will go on – over days and weeks; meanwhile just keep me laughing.

i love you.
Does me looking at you with my crossed eyes, fishy lips and making a weird grunting sound make you laugh? If so, you must be ready to piss yourself.
