…do people call just after 3:00 to “announce” the doc can’t see me at the designated time – then after 7:00 have the answering service phone back with the original time?

Probably the same reason my neurogolist was 2 hours late with my appointment and yet there’s a sign on the wall that says she’ll charge me $25.00 for a missed appointment without 24 hours notice.

There is a lot of stupidity in the world. What is even funnier is I bet they have a stupid excuse too.
And for the same reason that I received a bill today from a Surgical Physicians Assistant in the amount of $1800.00 for a surgery I had in June, 2008. That one definitely qualifies as a “WTF?”

i guess you give them a degree and they become all discombulated. they’re kinda like my old corporate lawyers, who changed my name thinking it would cause no trouble. sure. right.
I have given up trying to figure people out. There is such a wide spectrum of personalities in this world, I decided it was totally fruitless. I simply accept everyone as they are and deal being in touch with them accordingly. I’ve gotten better things to do in this life. ilu tons
