various people have made suggestions on how to deal with the neuropathy’s resulting dry (understatement) skin. thanks to all. bag balm helps a lot - if i keep it on constantly and do, at least, a daily manual scraping. that’s an option with my feet - but not so with my hands.

the bandaids cover up the areas where so much of the skin is gone they’re bleeding.
these photos were taken about 5 hours after i took my gloves off. they don’t show the full detail because i still have to get a new battery for my big camera. you get the idea though.
